COVID-19 emergency campaigns​

campaign creation & launch

During shelter-in-place, the largest supportive housing provider in San Francisco stayed open to support 1,500+ formerly homeless residents who call their buildings home.

 

COVID-19 brought unexpected costs to Community Housing Partnership (now, HomeRise).

 

Early in 2020, we launched a COVID campaign, with a series of strategically timed sub-campaigns, to activate donors and funders. With a flexible campaign plan in place, we were able to pivot quickly as the needs evolved. We leveraged social media, email and Classy campaigns to raise funding for emergency food for residents, PPE supplies, hazard pay, extra cleanings and more.

Results:

  • 40% increase in individual donors

  • Raised over $30,000

​

  • Content development

  • Capital campaign brochure and other collateral
